Abstract: PurposePostoperative venous thromboembolism (VTE) risk is pronounced after abdominal cancer surgery. Enoxaparin shows promise in preventing VTE in gastrointestinal, gynecological, and urological cancers, but its application after surgery for hepatobiliary‐pancreatic malignancy has been under‐evaluated due to bleeding concerns.
