Abstract:Genetically Encoded Fluorescent Biosensors (GEFBs) have become indispensable tools for visualizing biological processes in vivo. A typical GEFB is composed of a sensory domain (SD) which undergoes a conformational change upon ligand binding and a genetically fused fluorescent protein (FP).
