Abstract:Chelating resins based on immobilised oxines are attractive solid-phase extraction (SPE) materials in the analysis of trace metals from environmental samples. The most common immobilisation procedure for bonding oxines to silica supports is time-consuming and incompatible with "green chemistry" regulations.
