Rapid prototyping of multi-chip modules

Abstract

W e describe a rapid prototyping methodology f o r multi-chip modules, based upon laser processes f o r lanking and cutting conductors. W e discuss some of the design and test issues involved in this approach, and present results of our efforts t o independently demonstrate each component technology.
