Abstract:PurposeBrain MRI is increasingly used in the emergency department (ED), where ‐weighted MRI is an essential tool for detecting hemorrhage and stroke. The goal of this study was to develop a rapid ‐weighted MRI technique capable of correcting motion‐induced artifacts, thereby simultaneously improving scan time and motion robustness for ED applications.MethodsA 2D gradient‐echo (GRE)–based multishot EPI (msEPI) technique was implemented using a navigator echo for estimating motion‐induced errors. Bulk rigid head… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
