RCCMP: A TCP-Friendly Reliable Multicast Transport Protocol

Abstract: This paper introduces a reliable multicast transport protocol RCCMP (Reliable CongestionControlled Multicast Protocol) that has been designed to be simple, scalable, reliable and TCPfriendly. The congestion control is a central part of the protocol, where the feedback of the worst receiver is used to control a transmission window in a TCP-like fashion.
