Reading acuity in albinism: Evaluation using MNREAD charts

Abstract: Results: Visual acuity improved three or more lines in all patients. The scars became less opacified and less visible. No complications developed. Discussion: Pediatric patients with vascularized corneal stromal scars may experience improvement in visual acuity and appearance after treatment with yellow dye laser. Conclusion: Yellow dye laser is an effective treatment for vascularized corneal stromal scars.
