Real‐Time Rendering of Eclipses without Incorporation of Atmospheric Effects

Abstract: In this paper, we present a novel approach for real‐time rendering of soft eclipse shadows cast by spherical, atmosphereless bodies. While this problem may seem simple at first, it is complicated by several factors.
