Abstract: Abstract-Boundary element methods (BEMs) are an increasingly popular approach to the modeling of electromagnetic scattering both by perfect conductors and dielectric objects. Several mathematical, numerical, and computational techniques pullulated from the research into BEMs, enhancing its efficiency.
