Abstract: Background: Molecules that have a phenothiazine scaffold have been considered versatile organic structures with a wide variety of biological activities: antipsychotic, anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antimalarial, and trypanocidal, among others.
