“…As it is noted in figure 1 that lanthanum, cerium, europium and terbium are the most studied, the 35% predominance of studies involving the luminescence property can be explained. The mechanical properties can be justified by the PU, as they are one of several characteristics of this material (Allami et al, 2021;Kojio et al, 2010;Vaidya et al, 2022). Polyurethane nanocomposite and yttrium aluminium garnet doped with terbium (III).…”

“…In recent years, nanoparticle suspensions of waterborne polyurethane (WPU), rather than PU soluble in organic solvents, have been actively investigated to reduce the environmental impact. 1,2) Because the isocyanate groups that form the polyurethane backbone bonds are highly reactive with water, it is difficult to synthesize WPU particles by conventional emulsion polymerization, therefore, other methods are employed. For example, an acetone solution of WPU with a carboxylic acid incorporated into the polyurethane backbone is synthesized in advance, and when water is added dropwise, a phase inversion from the acetone phase to the aqueous phase occurs, resulting in the formation of WPU nanoparticles.…”
