Abstract:VERITAS is a ground-based imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescope array sensitive to very high energy (VHE, E > 100 GeV) gamma rays. VERITAS has detected VHE gamma-ray emission from nearly 60 astrophysical sources of varied source classes.
