Abstract:The BEPCII collider operates in the tau-charm center of mass energy region from 2 GeV to 4.6 GeV with a design luminosity of 1 × 10 33 cm −2 s −1 . Samples of 106 M ψ events and 225 M J/ψ events were recorded by the BESIII detector in the summer of 2009. Results based on these samples are described, including h c studies, measurements of χ cJ decays, confirmations of the BESII X(1660) and X(1835) resonances, f 0 (980) − a 0 (980) mixing signals, and ψ → γP(P = π 0 , η, η ) . Also described are the BESIII beam … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
