Abstract:The
recent advances in surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS)
have developed label-free biosensors for early diagnosis of diseases.
This review explores the recent trends of SERS-based biosensors, focusing
on their potential applications for the rapid and accurate detection
of diseases without labeling agents. The integration of SERS with
biosensor platforms provides a powerful approach to enhance sensitivity
and selectivity in the detection of biomolecules associated with diseases.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
