Abstract:<p>This study demonstrates the utility of tree ring radiocarbon analysis to quantify a temporal record of recently-added fossil fuel-derived carbon dioxide (CO₂ff) in the urban atmosphere, to retrospectively measure emissions and potentially validate local emissions inventories.
