Abstract:Introduction/Objective
Collapsing glomerulopathy (CGN) mainly occurs in patients of African descent because a majority of these patients have APOL-1 gene mutations that results in damage of terminally differentiated podocytes, diffuse fusion of foot processes, and podocyte hyperplasia.
