Abstract:Background
Nanoparticles have been used in neurological research in recent years because of their blood-brain barrier penetration activity. However, their potential neuronanotoxicity remains a concern. In particular, microglia, which are resident phagocytic cells, are mainly exposed to nanoparticles in the brain.
