Abstract: IntroductionPulmonary vascular dysfunction during severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) may lead to right ventricle (RV) dysfunction and acute cor pulmonale (ACP). The occurrence/persistence of ACP despite conventional extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is a challenging situation.
