Refrigeration Equipment Using Standing Acoustic Wave

Abstract: Thermoacoustic refrigeration equipment (TAR), wherein compression of the refrigerant is provided by a standing acoustic wave compressor, is introduced in this article. The standing acoustic wave compressor is endued an added task of supercooling the refrigerant, so that efficiency losses due to flashing are reduced.
