Abstract:A relativistic quark model of mesons formulated within the formalism of Fokker-type action integrals is proposed, in which an interquark interaction is mediated by a massless vector field and scalar-vector superposition of higher derivative fields. In the non-relativistic limit the model describes a two-particle system with the Cornell potential. In order to analyze the model in the essentially relativistic domain the perturbed circular orbit approximation is applied which permits one to perform the canonical … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
