Relations between the asteroseismic indices and stellar parameters of δ Scuti stars for two years of TESS mission

Abstract: We investigate the relationship between the asteroseismic indices and the physical quantities of 438 δ Scuti (DSCT) stars observed by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission at 26 sectors. We study the scaling relations of stellar parameters (effective temperature, surface gravity, density, etc.) and asteroseismic indices such as fundamental frequency, large frequency separation (Δν), frequency of the highest peak in the spectrum, and the peak of the envelope of oscillation mode (νmax) for DSC… Show more

“…An important recent result for δ Scuti pulsations is the discovery of regular sequences of oscillations in young stars which enable clear mode identification [298]. This is important for enabling the use of asteroseismology to determine the properties of δ Scuti stars, and scaling relations have been established using TESS data by Barceló Forteza et al [299] and Hasanzadeh et al [300].…”

“…Ho we ver, as for solar-type stars, this ν low is also related to the stellar mean density (Su árez et al 2014 ;Garc ía Hern ández et al 2015. Other seismic indices are the rotational splittings of modes of the same order and degree, related to the angular rotation, and the frequency at maximum power, used in solar-type stars, directly related to the ef fecti ve temperature, that has also been found in δ Sct stars (Barcel ó Forteza, Roca Cort és & Garc ía 2018 ; Bowman & Kurtz 2018 ;Barcel ó Forteza et al 2020 ;Hasanzadeh, Safari & Ghasemi 2021.…”
