With advances in information and communication technologies and especially smart technologies, most people can enjoy favor of those technologies. However, as side effects of those technologies, we are facing with various problems. The typical problems are internet addiction, cyber bullying, cyber gambling, infringement of personal information, copyright violation, and hacking, etc. It is responsibility of our society to provide prevention programs and treatment programs for those side effects. Also, as recently dual-income families have been increasing due to economic crisis, their children are exposed to various troubles. The purpose of this study is to analyze correlation between internet addiction and dual-income family. For this purpose, 4-year national survey works from Korea National Information Society Agency have been analyzed. After statistical work, it is concluded that, although internet addiction rate of children from dual-income families is higher than the of children from single-income families, there is no meaningful correlation between dual-income family and internet addiction.
