Abstract:The number of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients has been increasing. Several risk factors linked with Type 2 DM are overweight, lack of exercises and an unhealthy diet. The level of zinc serum DM patients is also lower than that of non DM and this is associated with poor blood glucose control.
