“…Regarding the instrument used, although it has adequate psychometric properties and has been used in other studies [64], it is a self-report scale, therefore, the subjectivity of the person responding influences their responses, even if to a lesser degree. To avoid this, and especially to measure the variables of innovation capability (given that the organizational climate itself is made up of people's beliefs, perceptions, and feelings), it would be advisable to take concrete indicators of innovation, taken from audits or observation scales, which would be much more objective indicators and reflect the closest thing to what happens in the reality of these firms.…”

“…Several studies aim to confirm the relationship between these two variables, where the results are positive and significant (Acosta-Prado et al, 2020;Al-Dmour et al, 2020;Hock-Doepgen et al, 2020;Nagano and Iacono, 2019;Yousaf and Ali, 2018;Mejía et al, 2016;Obeidat et al, 2016;Dos Santos-Ferreira and Santos, 2014;Jiménez-Jiménez et al, 2014), particularly in SMEs (Väyrynen et al, 2017;Saini and Bhargava, 2020) and in higher education institutions (Elmorshidy, 2018;Sadeghi Boroujerdi et al, 2019). Moreover, other studies show the influence of knowledge management on innovation and the effect on performance (Singh et al, 2019;Mardani et al, 2018;Migdadi et al, 2017;Marques et al, 2016).…”
