MSME business actors have a significant role in the Indonesian economy. However, there are still various obstacles faced by MSME business actors, including those related to halal certification literacy. Based on data from the Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH), only around 2.8% of MSMEs in Indonesia have been halal certified. The low level of halal certification among MSMEs is caused by a lack of understanding and literacy regarding the procedures and benefits of halal certification. Sipirok Market is one of the traditional markets in Indonesia with the majority of traders selling various food and beverage products, but the majority do not have halal certification. Therefore, it is important to carry out halal certification literacy activities aimed at MSMEs in 'Aisyiyah Branch of Sipirok Market. Data collection was carried out through focus group discussions, observations and questionnaires. Based on an initial survey conducted on 25 MSMEs at Sipirok Market, it was discovered that as many as 18 MSMEs (72%) had not received halal certification from BPJPH. They generally still do not understand the procedures and requirements needed to obtain halal certification. Apart from that, they also don't know the benefits that can be obtained by having halal certification for the products they sell. Based on the results of community service activities, it can be concluded that halal certification literacy for MSME business actors in the Sipirok Market Branch is still relatively low.

Purpose – This study aims to explore a new model concept finding that can bridge the research gap of halal literacy relationships, brand management skills that are centralized to religio-centric product strategies and the commitment to diversity as a function of moderation. Design/methodology/approach – Quantitative methods were used to collect data from a total of 186 respondents with PLS-SEM, instruments used with questionnaires and interviews taken randomly from a population of 320 spread across the island of Java. Findings – This concept is a novelty in efforts to improve business performance based on the religious nature of centrists in determining product strategies. Furthermore, the growth of product brand innovation is increasingly dynamic, demanding the participation of religion in leading competitive brands and the dissemination of halal literacy Research limitations/implications – In the meantime, in-depth research has not yet been carried out on other dimensions of the function of the previous variable religio-centric product strategy, such as halal marketing innovation capabilities and information technology configuration of halal product literacy. Practical implications – the application of a religion-centred marketing strategy is the company's ability to provide innovation in product strategy decisions that are committed to religious values and can be leveraged in current market understanding and future market forecasts. For stakeholders, this is a new faith-based business opportunity that can open up new segments in heterogeneous market demands. Originality/value – To contribute ideas for knowledge about religious-product strategies and the ability of MSME businesses to spread the importance of halal brand products to customers and through attention on innovation strategies of customer religiosity product needs that are oriented to the needs of halal products customers.

Bu çalışmanın amacı bireylerin dinî yönelim düzeylerinin finansal tutum ve davranışları üzerine etkisi hakkında literatüre katkı sunmaktır. Yapılan literatür taramasında, dinîn finansal davranışlar ile ilişkisi hakkında oldukça az araştırmaya rastlanmıştır. Bu nedenle literatüre katkı sağlamak amacıyla farklı yaş, eğitim, din ve gelir düzeylerinden oluşan 395 kişilik bir örneklem üzerinde araştırma yapılmıştır. İnternet üzerinden yapılan veri toplama yöntemi ile ankete katılanlardan 388'i değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Verilerin analizi, ölçeklerin açıklayıcı faktör analizi ve güvenilirlik analizi için SPSS, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi için ise LISREL 8.7 programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın hipotezlerinin test edilmesinde t testi, One Way ANOVA, Pearson korelasyon analizi ve doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre Türkiye'de yaşayan bireylerin dinî yönelimlerinin yüksek olduğu ve dinî yönelimlerin finansal davranışlar üzerine etkisinin bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuç Türkiye'de bireylerin finansal davranışlarına etki eden faktörlerden birinin dinî yönelim olduğunu göstermektedir. Bireylerin finansal tutum ve davranışlarına etki eden faktörlerin tespiti, finansal kararları düzenlemek ve bu alandaki farkındalığı arttırmak için uygulanabilecek dürtme politikalarını tasarlayabilmek bakımından fayda sağlayacaktır. Böylelikle gelecek nesillerin finansal tutum ve davranışlarının iyileştirilmesi mümkün olacaktır.
