Reliability Analysis of a conveyor system using hybrid data

Abstract: The quantification of a fault tree is difficult without an exact probability value for all of the basic events of the tree. To overcome this difficulty in this paper, we propose a methodology which employs 'hybrid data' as a tool to analyse the fault tree. The proposed methodology estimates the failure probability of basic events using the statistical analysis of field recorded failures.
