Reliability of microbiological tests in the diagnosis of Clostridium difficile infection

Abstract: The aim of the study was to analyze the characteristics {sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) and credibility} of tests for microbiological diagnosis of infections caused by Clostridium (C. difficile).
