Reliable detection of causality violations in tabulated scattering parameters through filtered dispersion relations

Abstract

We introduce a new form of dispersion relations useful to detect causality violations in sampled scattering parameters. Compared to existing solutions, the new approach is simpler to implement, more intuitive, and provides a better insight on the detected violation.
