Removable Hemostatic Suture in Suprapubic Prostatectomy

Abstract: A method of hemostasis in prostatectomy is described. A removable Z-suture is used, by which the bleeding is maximally controlled. The possibility of removing the nylon thread after 24 hours creates favorable healing conditions and minimizes the risk of infection.
