Abstract:The present study was aimed at eliminating CrVI from effluent streams by means of an emulsion liquid membrane generated by palm oil, Span 80 (surfactant), bis(2‐ethylhexyl) phosphate (carrier), and NaOH, used as an emulsion in the stripping phase.
