Abstract: Liver transplant is the treatment available for eligible patients with end-stage liver cirrhosis. Acute kidney injury and electrolyte abnormalities are associated with liver disease and can be exacerbated by surgery. Intraoperative renal replacement therapy has been tried in some large centres.
