Also, there may be discolouration due to cigarette, mouthwashes or beverages on dental restorations [5-7]. In these cases, dentists have to make a decision between repairing or replacing the restoration completely. Minimal invasive treatment is one of the most important principles in modern dentistry. It is the basis of this principle to give as limited damage to healthy tooth tissues and to remove as less tooth tissue as possible. The protection of the dental tissue will ensure that the restorations last longer [8-10]. The complete replacement of the existing restoration expands the preparation size and increases the risk of complications.
