Abstract: TO THE EDITOR: Hyperhomocysteinemia (HHcy) is considered a potentially modifiable risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD) and atherosclerosis. The possible mechanisms of accelerated CAD in HHcy include endothelial dysfunction and enhanced oxidative stress (13).
