Abstract:Obtaining formal safety and efficacy data in adequately samplesized clinical trials is therefore paramount.Limitations include the low proportion of studies reporting a number of older adult participants, restricting our search to MEDLINE, and the inclusion of published RCTs only.Obtaining population-specific data is required to make evidence-based therapeutic recommendations. Therefore, we advocate for the inclusion of representative populations of older adults in NP CTs.
