Abstract:Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the most lethal infectious diseases globally. The only TB vaccine approved by the World Health Organization, Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG), protects children against severe and disseminated TB but provides limited protection against pulmonary TB in adults.
