Research and Analyse for Pressurized Water Reactor Plant into Power System Dynamics Simulation

Abstract: The nuclear power plants are being constructed and operated widely in recent years. Consequently, it is necessary to study nuclear power plants (NPPs) dynamic characteristics and power system dynamics simulations with nuclear plant after NPPs has been introduced into power system. At first, the paper presents functional description of NPP. Then a detailed and new models of generating plant with PWR have been developed in PSASP through user-defined modeling program for mediumterm and long-term power system tran… Show more

“…To solve this problem, researchers proposed to extend the linearization model to the equilibrium manifold linearization (EML). [22][23][24][25] In the inspection process, the robot will inevitably be affected by external disturbances such as wind and wire vibration. 26,27 Meanwhile, the time delay 28 caused by signal transmission and detection needs time is also widespread in the actual system, which will lead to the instability of the system.…”

“…The conventional models of nuclear power plants proposed therein have high computational complexities, which further limited their suitability in large-scale power system dynamic simulations. Linear nuclear power plant models have been employed for short-term stability investigation of the power system for a slow and small range of output variations [5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]. In these works, the subsystems are given by simplified dynamic equations, which make them preferable in short-term dynamic analysis during small power imbalance conditions.…”
