Abstract:We evaluated the results of laparoscopic nephrectomy for the treatment of renal tumors in a provincial hospital. Subjects and methods: 30 patients were diagnosed with renal tumors and underwent laparoscopic nephrectomy at a General Hospital, in Vietnam. The mean age was 53.23 years, the rate of incidental detection of tumors was 8/30. Average tumor size was 5.33cm. Angiomyolipoma was found int 7/30 and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in 23/30.
