Abstract:This study proposes a novel image registration algorithm to solve the problem of low registration accuracy caused by excessive difference in resolution and spectral differences between infrared and visible images. First, we use a VI-CycleGAN network to translate visible images into fake infrared images. Furthermore, we incorporate a normalization-based attention mechanism (NAM) into each residual block to capture the global information of the image and preserve its details. Meanwhile, we consider higherlevel s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
