Research on multirobot collaboration platform for logistic distribution of medical consumables in the operating room

Abstract

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of hospital scale and the development of technology, the demand for intelligent logistics in hospitals has become increasingly urgent, especially in operating rooms, efficient consumable logistics can make the surgical process smoother, more efficient and safer. This paper selects Shenzhen People's Hospital as the experimental site, and selects the operating room consumable logistics data from November 2021 to March 2022, comparing the average logistics distribution time of surgical consumables under three modes: manual delivery, single robot delivery, and multi-robot collaborative delivery. The experiment shows that the average time of using multi-robot collaborative distribution is 2.7 minutes/time, compared with manual distribution, the efficiency has increased by almost 100%.
