Research on QoS Supported Differentiated Probability Outputted Scheme in a Limited Buffer Equipped OBS Core Router

Abstract

In this paper, we analyzed and discussed the performance of differentiated probability outputted scheme for multipriorities traffic in an optical burst switching (OBS) core router with limited optical buffers. From simulations we could observe that, based on our proposed scheduling mechanism, the quality of service (QoS) can be supported effectively.
