The research aims to find the effect of configuration and colour of used bottles (UB) on interlock-concrete-brick walls (lockcobrick LW) on performance and daylighting character. This study is intended to answer questions: (1) the effect of the configuration of the distribution of UB on LW on Daylight Factor (DF); (2) daylighting character on UB colour on LW. The method was carried out by measuring DF on a variety of models with a spread distribution of UB, vertically, and horizontally centered with the percentage of WB to LB was 50%. While the quality of daylighting is done by collecting data on perceptions of 109 respondents to the UB model photo object by applying different colours to the walls of the bottle. The conclusions are (1) There was a significant difference in DF between the spread and centered configurations; (2) There is no significant difference in DF between vertical and horizontal centered; (3) Changes in colour on the walls of UB have a difference and influence on the perception of the temperature impression; (4) Each colour category based on the impression of temperature has a tendency to form emotions. Warm colours tend to trigger active emotions, while cool colours tend to trigger passive emotions.

Sensors are increasingly used in mobile environments with wireless network connections. Multiple sensor types measure distinct aspects of the same event. Their measurements are then combined to produce integrated, reliable results. As the number of sensors in networks increases, low energy requirements and changing network connections complicate event detection and measurement. We present a data fusion scheme for use in mobile wireless sensor networks with high energy efficiency and low network delays, that still produces reliable results. In the first phase, we used a network simulation where mobile agents dynamically select the next hop migration node based on the stability parameter of the link, and perform the data fusion at the migration node. Agents use the fusion results to decide if it should return the fusion results to the processing center or continue to collect more data. In the second phase. The feasibility of data fusion at the node level is confirmed by an experimental design where fused data from color sensors show near-identical results to actual physical temperatures. These results are potentially important for new large-scale sensor network applications.

Development of Bayesian Neural Network Model to Predict the Correlated Color Temperature Using Digital Camera and Macbeth ColorChecker Chart

Information about correlated color temperature influencing the scene due to the surrounding lighting is vital, especially for circadian lighting and photography. This paper proposes a novel image-based machine learning model to predict the correlated color temperature in a scene with the help of the Macbeth ColorChecker color rendition chart and a DSLR camera. In the proposed technique, the researcher fixes the white balance setting in the camera, thereby forcing color difference in the captured image of the Macbeth ColorChecker chart placed in the scene. The Bayesian neural network model considers the color difference values of the six spectrally neutral patches of the Macbeth ColorChecker chart as inputs for CCT prediction. The color differences are calculated using the CIEDE2000 color difference formula. Fours models with white balance settings in the camera as 5000 K, 6500 K, 8000 K, and 10000 K were developed and analyzed. It is experimentally found that the correlated color temperature prediction error is less than five percent by the proposed model with white balance setting in the DSLR camera as 10000 K. The proposed model performed consistently during varied lighting levels and mixed CCT lighting conditions set up with LED, incandescent, and fluorescent lamps.
