Research on the Control System of Lathe Open-type Hydrostatic Slide

Abstract

In order to make oil film thickness for lathe open-type hydrostatic slide stabilize and without changing following cutting forces, the lathe open-type hydrostatic slide was regarded as the research object. The equations of the control system of the oil film thickness for lathe open-type hydrostatic slide were established, which included the flow equations of slides and the force equations of dynamic slides. The control model of the control system of oil film thickness for lathe open-type hydrostatic slide was established. The parameters of the control model were determined through the identification and optimization, and its state space representation was derived. The PID control of the system was developed. The performance of the control system of oil film thickness had been significantly improved after the PID control. The static and dynamic performance of the system has further improved by conducting pole optimization allocation.
