Research on the Coupling Coordination of Green Finance, Digital Economy, and Ecological Environment in China

Abstract: This study analyzes the coupling coordination of green finance, digital economy, and ecological environment, and constructs an evaluation index system of coupling coordination degree. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020, this study applies the coupling coordination model, spatial autocorrelation model, and gray correlation model to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of coupling coordination degree and driving factors. The results indicate that the overall level… Show more

“…At the same time, significant variables that determine the degree of coupling coordination in various provinces are quantified. The following concrete manifes-tations are based on the complete coupling coordination degree of 31 provinces nationwide across the three research periods: currently, the core of urbanization development does not prioritize humanistic literacy [20], and by enhancing humanistic literacy, numerous provinces may significantly enhance the coupling coordination of urban modernization and low-carbon development, and the northeast and western areas' economic development is constrained by locality, and the spatial spillover impact of economic development in diverse regions is generally minimal [38]. Other regions are not significantly impacted by the eastern region's effective economic development because different provinces have not fully utilized the value of policy guidance and other aspects, and local governments have not given enough attention to the coordinated development of the ecological environment and economic situation [39].…”

“…In addition, due to the main application of digital technology in the eld of the digital economy, a large amount of studies have also explored the impact of the digital economy on ecological environment governance. Some studies have explored the coupling relationship between the digital economy and the ecological environment (Fu et al, 2022;Han et al, 2023;Li et al, 2023;Zhang and Zhao, 2023). Other studies have examined the impact of the digital economy on ecological performance (Shen et al, 2022), ecological resilience (Dong, 2023), and the ecological footprint (Dai et al, 2023).…”
