Research Progress on Electrochemical Machining Technology
Kuaile Cheng
Abstract:Electrochemical machining (ECM) is an excellent technique of processing for metallic materials, widely used in the shaping and preparation of metal structural components. According to the size requirements of the processed structures, in this paper, the current status of ECM development is introduced from the aspects of macro-electrochemical machining and micro-electrochemical machining; and its advantages and disadvantages are summarized, which provides significant reference for the further development of ECM.
