Abstract:Sesquiterpenes constitute the principal components of the genus Ainsliaea, encompassing guaiane, germacrane, eudesmane, and polymer sesquiterpene lactones types. These secondary metabolites exhibit diverse pharmacological activities, including antitumor, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, and neuroprotective effects.
