Reshaping Roles in Acquisitions

Abstract: Pamela K. Goude explained the reorganization of the Acquisitions Department at the Dartmouth Library. Using a client-centered approach, library managers assigned areas of responsibility to designated specialists and their corresponding teams. Goude discussed methods of including staff in the planning process, as well as ways of easing the stress that typically accompanies change.
