Abstract:In their recent report, Halliday et al1 seek to encourage the reader that ‘interventions to improve grit through resilience training should also be examined’. As a matter of concern to myself, this statement and the associated research in the report are likely to give fuel for National Health Service (NHS) employers to dive headlong into further rounds of deeply unpopular ‘resilience training’ for Junior Doctors.
