Resilient supply chain design and operations with decision‐dependent uncertainty using a data‐driven robust optimization approach

Abstract: To addresses the design and operations of resilient supply chains under uncertain disruptions, a general framework is proposed for resilient supply chain optimization, including a quantitative measure of resilience and a holistic biobjective twostage adaptive robust fractional programming model with decision-dependent uncertainty set for simultaneously optimizing both the economic objective and the resilience objective of supply chains. The decision-dependent uncertainty set ensures that the uncertain paramete… Show more

“…The resilience of a processing facility is strongly tied to the resilience of the external systems and supply chains. Multi-scale approaches to the optimization of designing individual processes, eco-industrial parks, and associated supply chains can provide a valuable framework for creating resilient processes and supply chains (e.g., Juárez-García et al, 2018;Mukherjee and El-Halwagi, 2018;Zhao and You, 2019;Avraamidou et al, 2020).…”

“…Heuristic and metaheuristic methods are used very scarcely in SCND resilience ( Table 2 ). For instance, only [115] and [168] propose heuristics to enhance computational efficiency. Regarding metaheuristics, Bottani et al.…”
