“…Cues for prospective memory are internal and must be present in mind in order to cue behavior at the right time (Graf, Uttl, & Dixon, 2002; Loftus, 1971). To investigate how scarcity impacts the recall of internal cues (prospective memory performance), Tomm and Zhao (2017) assigned participants either a large time budget (20 minutes; rich condition) or a small time budget (5 minutes; poor condition); participants were asked to complete 50 Raven's Progressive Matrices.
