“…One study within the past 5 years identified barriers and facilitators of nurse practitioners' adherence to human papilloma vaccine administration among adolescents at one company's retail clinics in Georgia. That study identified parental refusal of the vaccine as a barrier to vaccination guideline adherence and providers' attendance at grand rounds or lectures regarding the vaccine as a facilitator of implementation (Deupree et al, 2017). No other studies evaluating nurse practitioners' barriers and facilitators of guideline implementation were identified in a review of the past 5 years of literature.…”
